Job Summary:To head and develop the Learning and growth in the Company and be a key lead for learning and
development endeavors of the Company
Key Responsibilities:
Brief description of duties or the responsibilities for the job
Develop and implement the Learning and Development strategy
Manage the talent management framework
Design training methodology for the business
Manage the competence framework
Conduct returns on investment for Learning and development initiatives
Develop and manage annual budgets for the training unit.
Design and offer suggestions for materials development and modification.
Implementation and supervision of training programmes.
Develop training needs analysis programmes and ensure training needs are effectively identified and appropriate training solutions delivered.
Draft training guidelines/policies and review existing ones.
Deliver /facilitate training for staff members of UEGCL at different levels using relevant training materials.
Acquire audio/visual aids and training materials for the unit.
Coordinate workshops, seminars, and courses initiated or hosted by UEGCL.
Analyze program results to enhance training effectiveness
Work with the Chief Human Resource Officer to determine HR plans that have a direct bearing on
capacity building i.e. recruitment, promotion etc and plan for necessary intervention.
Education and Professional Requirements:
The minimum education level required to perform this job.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management or organization
psychology.
Related Job Experience:
The experience required to perform this job
• At least 7 years’ senior level management experience with a large workforce in a busy and dynamic HR department
