Uganda Communications Commission Senior Officer, Regional Offices Jobs in Uganda

Job Purpose:

To manage and monitor regional office activities liaising with the Head Office, local public in accordance with management objectives.

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities

To schedule, plan, organize, lead and coordinate operational duties and communication duties in the region, including staff supervision and safe guarding all UCC assets in the regions

To handle technical complaints (Radio frequency interference, illegal operations, poor quality of service etc.) in accordance with set procedures.

To collect and compile data for technical planning purposes and prosecution of illegal operations

To carry out all technical inspections (Telecom, Broadcasting, Content Monitoring, Postal,) in tandem with UCC’s functions for compliance with the set standards and requirements.;

To provide timely operational reports to HQ as required.

To prepare and present regional budgetary needs every financial year to the Regional Head.

To execute administrative, public relations and corporate duties of the Regional Office.

Education and Professional qualifications

• A Masters’ Degree in Business Administration or related field; and

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

Working Experience

Four (4) years’ related experience in a similar corporate setting.
