Qualifications and Experience

Must have a Diploma in Stores Management or Procurement & Logistics from a reorganized institution of higher learning

Should have at least two (2) years of working experience performing similar tasks

Should have ability to operate computerized inventory control system;

Should have excellent organizational, inter-personal and Communication skills and ability to work under minimum supervision;

Experience with computer data entry;

Demonstrated customer service attitude;

Ability to trouble shoots problems;

Excellent IT skills, Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, MIS, Power point, Access etc and knowledge of computerized accounting packages like SAP;

Excellent analytical abilities and an eye for detail combined with a desire for continuous improvement;

Should demonstrate high standards of integrity, ethics, objective judgments and independence

Must be a mature and practicing Christian preferably of the Anglican Faith

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive requisitions for materials from user Departments

Raising purchase requisitions in consultation with the Stores Supervisor

Receiving the supplies at the time of delivery

Inspection of delivered supplies

before storage

Recording supplies received in the relevant books/computer

Storing the supplies in their respective places in line with stores lay out & design

Issuing of the supplies to users according to the approved procedures.

Ensuring safety and security of stock and premises.

Maintaining up-to-date stores records

Participating in stocktaking exercises at all times

Preparing the necessary reports from time to time

Any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
