Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring accurate recording and timely acknowledgment of bank inflows and outflows.

Making regulatory payments for staff payroll-related items such as PAYE, pension, and NSITF.

Handling petty cash disbursements and reimbursements transparently and accountably.

Processing vendor payments efficiently while adhering to the company’s procurement policies and procedures.

Maintaining well-organized and up-to-date financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Regularly preparing bank reconciliation statements to identify and rectify any discrepancies.

Posting financial transactions to the company’s ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Collaborating with other team members to provide financial information and insights for budget preparation.

Preparing timely and accurate management accounts to provide valuable insights into the company’s financial performance.

Supporting the annual audit process by providing relevant financial information and responding to auditors’ queries professionally.

Assisting with the signing of audited financial statements as required by auditors and company secretaries.

Filing VAT returns accurately and on time to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.

Undertaking any other duties assigned by line managers in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting with minimum

of 5 years experience.

Strong in the use of excel spread sheet.
