Ubuntu Life ECDE Teacher Jobs in Kenya

Purpose of the Job:

To be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing a class and childcare duties following all guidelines as per plan.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities.

Submit and implement a well-developed and comprehensive lesson plan.

Ensure proper child guidance.

Conduct progress Continuous education assessment and file reports for children

Assist in feeding the children during meals.

Coordinate IEP plan with the parent to ensure effective child care and protection.

Reports on children in their class.

Foster healthy play for the children in their class.

Motivate the learners in their class to achieve set goals.

Recording of success stories articulating child milestones and progress records.

Identify the gaps in the children with special needs and formulate a plan to intervene.

Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Manage Organize, implement, coordinate, and control services of the childcare program.

Set up and maintain an organized and clutter-free environment safe for the children.

Supervise children at all times

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Valid teaching certification in ECDE.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with young children, preferably in a special needs setting.

Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
