UBTEB Examination Officer Special Needs Education Opportunities Jobs in Uganda

Ref: UBTEB/HRM/004/01/2018

Responsibilities

Be responsible for identification of all aspects of examinations that require special
attention like braille production, interpretation;

Liaise with institutions in making arrangements to appoint special needs support
personnel to serve at the examination centers where there is a candidate with
special educational needs;

Be responsible for development of guidelines for candidates with special
educational needs during examinations;

Be responsible for assessing documented evidence from qualified practicing
medical practitioners regarding candidates that can be considered at the time of
registration as Special needs;

Be responsible for assessing the common categories of candidates with special
educational needs;

Inspect and collect regular data from institutions on candidates with special needs;

Participate in the registration of Candidates with Special needs; and

Perform any other duty assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Community and Adult Education, Special Needs Education, Guidance and Counseling from recognized institution.

Diploma or Certificate in Special Needs Education will be an added advantage

A minimum of two years’ experience in teaching in Business Institutions or world
of work.

Age limit: 25-40 years

UBTEB Data Entry Clerk Opportunities Jobs in Uganda

Ref: UBTEB/HRM/005/01/2018

Responsibilities

Perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors,
arranging documents, and organizing offices/meeting venue;

Create database and/or processes to accomplish tasks;

Establish entry priorities by maintain understanding what need to be entered first;

Enter clients’ data into prescribed database software;

Perform document/candidates’ photo scanning

Check source documents against entered data to ensure data integrity at every
state;

Produce automated data entry and integration reports when requested

Generate statistical reports based on maintained data on a periodic basis.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

A qualification of a relevant Diploma (in any field examinable by the Board);

A Bachelor’s Degree (in any field examinable by the Board) shall be an added
advantage;

Must be computer literate (conversant with MS office).

UBTEB Driver Opportunities Jobs in Uganda

Ref: UBTEB/HRM/006/01/2018

Responsibilities

Driver vehicles for official duty and assignments;

Carry out basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles;

Report major technical mechanical faults to the supervising officer;

Maintain and update the Log Book of the vehicle daily and upkeep the
maintenance schedule accordingly after the repairs

Ensure the safety of the vehicle; and

Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in English Language.

Valid Driving Permit of Class DL/VS/CM/B.

Proven driving experience in a public/reputable institution.

A Certificate in defensive/competence driving or equivalent from a reputable
organization.

A minimum of four years driving experience gained from a reputable organisation

Age limit: 30-50 years
