Optometrist Job Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out examination, diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of disease and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures
Co-ordinate the screening and refraction /low vision unit
Diagnose ocular manifestation of systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure and complications of the ageing process such as cataracts and muscular degeneration
Manage eye diseases and conduct referral of surgical cases.
Prescribe and fit eye glasses and contact lenses as well as safety eyewear and subnormal vision devises.
Provide vision therapy and low vision rehabilitation.
Work in conjunction with ophthalmologist and other health care providers to provide integrated, quality care for patients
Educate patients about vision and lifestyle choices for protecting and enhancing good vision and health
Conduct research and promote advancement in the visual health.
Requirements for the Optometrist Job
Bachelor of Science in Optometry and vision Science from a recognized Institution
Must be willing to work during odd hours and on weekends/holidays
Committed to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
One year post graduate experience in a busy institution

Legal Officer Job Responsibilities
Analyzing and critiquing laws and legislative proposals and promoting the adoption of appropriate laws.
Preparing legal briefs, and providing advice.

Developing and maintaining a resource pool of laws, regulations and other relevant materials.

Requirements for the Legal Officer Job
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Have at least two (2) years’ post admission experience.
Have a good understanding of Labour Laws and dispute resolution mechanisms in employment relations.
Proficiency in computer applications;
Has demonstrated administrative and professional competence in work performance at that level.

Senior Enterprise Officer Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating all aspects of Co-operative lending and training of Co-operatives under the CEDF in the County
Sensitizing all County Co-operatives on the availability of credit facilities for cooperative empowerment
Preparing monthly and periodic on loan uptake and repayments
Enlisting the support of stakeholders and ensure timely recovery of loans to ensure quality loan portfolio.
Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
Submit loan applications to the Director for analysis, verification and recommendation to the loan committee.
Support in formulation of credit policies, credit lines, procedures and standards in conjunction with Director of the fund.
Prepare reports to send to customers whose accounts are delinquent, and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
Carry out Monitoring and Evaluation for funded Co-operative Societies.
Requirements for the Senior Enterprise Officer Job
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics or business related degree from a recognized University.
Show merit and ability in credit control and over four years’ experience in credit preferably in micro finance institutions or have served in the Job Group ‘L’ or equivalent position for a minimum period of three(3) years
Possession of good analytical and report- writing skills
Possession of good interpersonal skills to interact with key stakeholders
Passion and eagerness to empower the most marginalized women across the country
Knowledge of computerized financial and accounting system.

County Jobs Enterprise Officer – Loans (2 Positions)
Enterprise Officer Job Duties and Responsibilities
Analyzing loan application forms and preparing reports on loan uptake and repayments in the various Sub Counties.
Monitoring and following up with the assistance of the Cooperative officers on problematic societies for loan recovery.
Appraise, recommend and refer loan applications to management for approval.
Meet with cooperative societies in the sub-counties to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the loan process.
Sensitize clients on the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit records, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.
Review and update credit and loan files.
Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Work with clients to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals.
Requirements for the Enterprise Officer Job
Bachelor’s degree in a Business Management or related course from a recognized university.
Diploma in Co-operatives Management/Development or Marketing from a recognized institution.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications.
The candidate should be ready to travel to rural areas to appraise and monitor cooperative societies.
