Uasin Gishu County Government Sub-County Administrator -Soy Jobs in Kenya

Requirements for appointment: -

Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management;

Knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than seven (7) years, three (3) of which must have been at senior management level in a public or private sector.

Master’s degree is an added advantage.

A Senior Management course from a recognized institution may be preferred.

Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Coordinate the management and supervision of the general administrative functions in the Sub-County unit;
Develop policies and plans;

Ensure effective service delivery;

Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in the development of policies, plans and delivery of services;

Provide and maintain infrastructure and facilities of public service;

Coordinate developmental activities to empower the community;

Maintain the Sub County public service

Exercise any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under section 86 (1) of County Government Act 2012.sv
