Uasin Gishu County Assembly Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified Kenyans from Uasin Gishu County to fill the following vacant posts,

1. Personal Assistants to MCA (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Handing phone calls fa the Member of County Assembly

ii. Keeping Member of County Assembly dory

iii. Briefing the MC.A on meeting agenda

iv. Collecting report / data on behalf of the MCA

v. Assisting the MCA during meetings

vi. Attending meetings in the absence of MCA

vi. Any other duties that may be assigned

Requirements for appointment

KCSE Certificate grade C- (C Minus)

Excellent Computer Skills Excellent

Excellent Communication skills

2. Personal Driver to the MCAs (17 Positions)

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving vehicle as authorized:

Carrying routine checks on the vehicle cooling oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure; detecting malfunctioning of vehicles system;

ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road

Overseeing safety of the passengers goods therein: and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle

Requirements for appointment

The following are the minimum qualifications

for this cadre:-

i) Valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the dosses of vehicles which the officer is required to drive.

(ii) Defensive driving certificate from Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution

III) Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade I.

iv First-Aid Certificate Course.

v) Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.

vi) Any other qualifications that may be adjudged as equivalent by CASB.
