Job Details:

TUMU Medical Institute a reputable Nursing and midwifery school, located in Buhweju District, Western Uganda., is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced personnel to fill the positions mentioned below with immediate effect.

Job 2: Clinical Officer (1) .

Duties

Clinical assessment and prescription of treatment for all patients

Conducts ward rounds in

Properly document treatment on patients files

Maintain an accurate and updated records keeping system in the department

Carry out minor surgical procedures

Attend to emergencies in ward

Participate in continuous medical education(CME) at the hospital

Conduct on-job training of staff through both practical and theory sessions

Participate in the marketing activities of the hospital.

Job qualifications

Must have a diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.

Must be registered and licensed by the Uganda Allied Health Professionals council.

At least 2 years' experience of clinical practice in a recognized Health institution.

Must have good report writing skills, flexible and innovative.

Job Education Requirements: diploma in Clinical Medicine
