We are in search of a qualified, talented and vibrant Human Resources Manager, to join our team in the Democratic Republic of Congo, A Congolese national who will be managing the human resources department for all project sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Your Primary duty will be to oversee everything partaining to human resources, for all the project sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo, your responsibilities will include; but not limited to staff training, labour relations, remuneration of salaries and approved incentives, staff welfare and maintaining industrial harmony.

Duties & Responsibilities

Represent the company at Bargaining Council

• Display knowledge of all related regulations and advise stakeholders on handling of internal Human Resoureces/Industrial relations issues

• Position the Country of operations strategically to respond proactively to internal and external Industrial Relations developments

• Provide a professional dispute resolution solutions to the operations and country managers

• Provide a high level consulting and advisory service in the country of operations, on all Human Resources and
Industrial Relations related matters, Industrial Relations policies, agreements, strategies, procedures and legislation

• Submit required human resources reports and adhere to deadlines

• Prepare documents for Human Resources /Industrial Relations related matters

• Risk management to ensure reduction of company exposure and containment of cost related to HR/IR

• Ensure compliance to labour legislation to avoid risk and exposure

• Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies and regulations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident

  • Experience managing a diverse team and strong willingness to build capacity of local staff

  • Knowledge computer skills, using office software such as Excel, Word and Power Point

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Trust worth and Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Fluency in both English and French is added advantage

    Qualifications

  • Must have Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management.

  • A minimum of at least 5 years work experience in Similar role.
