About Us

  • We are currently looking for a solid Labour Optimisation Manager with solid Payroll experience and knowledge to ensure the effective management, analysis, and auditing of labour processes, methods, operating systems and policies in Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Analyze and review the Competitive cost of Labour

    • Review current Operating systems

    • Analyze and monitor the efficiency of Deployment

    • Review and monitor Payroll management

    • Compile and conduct Audits on processes and standards

    • Partner with finance during budgeting to ensure cost improvement is represented in the profitability

    • System integrations between payroll and time and attendance - reduction of error margin in payroll

    • Analyse pay queries where time and attendance factors are the cause - this will assist in the continuous improvement

    • Provide comparison between legislation and actual pay rules - identify possible improvements that can be used in key stakeholder negotiations and when models are incorporated, show the difference between legislation and actual

    Skills and Competencies

    • South African payroll knowledge and legisltaion

    • Payroll system knowledge (Educos Vision is advantageous)

    • Strong expertise in high volume labour rostering, deployment and time and attendance systems such as PRP

    • Understanding the accounting principles

    • Strong Business partnering skills

    • Strong planning & organisational Skills

    • Analytical skills

    • Knowledge of South African Labour legislation, Bargaining Council and Sectorial Determination

    • Good communication skills

    • Excellent numeracy skills

    • Advanced Excel skills

    • Report writing skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Ability to work under pressure

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12

    • Degree/ diploma in payroll administration

    • Degree/ diploma Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification

    • 5 - 10 years’ work experience in a similar position

    • Member of SA Payroll Association
