Trakkers Trnsport Limited requires the services of a qualified person to fill the position of Accountant.
Job Purpose
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
Responsibilities also include analysing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Reports organization’s finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
• Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
• Analysing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
• Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Examining expenses submitted by employees
• Creating company financial reports with the above information included
Qualification and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting plus part CIMA, ACCA or any recognized professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an accountant in a corporate setting
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Must be a member of ZICA
