Our client is an alcohol distributor in Nairobi.

They seek to hire dynamic individuals for the Trade Development Representatives to deliver volume and revenue growth from outlets by following the Planned Call and executing all planned initiatives.

Salary: competitive
Location: Nairobi, Machakos, Kitui, Meru, Thika, Makueni, Emali , Voi , Mombasa , Naivasha, Narok, Gilgil, Eldoret, Nakuru, Nyahururu, Eldama Ravine, Kisumu.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve set monthly sales volume targets as per plan and product mix
  • Ensure timely collections to achieve volumes
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets as per plan All products are displayed and priced as per required standard
  • POSM placement and merchandising complies to set standards
  • Generate primary sales orders
  • Manage secondary sales from distributors and wholesalers
  • Ensure product availability in retail as per journey plans
  • Distributor Management – Maintain standards as per client’s guidelines
  • Prospecting & Listing – New outlet opening
    Manage handover process of new outlets to the distributor/wholesaler
  • Maintain outlet database within the distributor area
  • Maintain quality standards as per set standards
  • Ensure retail awareness on client’s quality standards
  • Manage non-conforming product in trade
  • Timely reporting on all
    quality issues

  • Excellent understanding of Business
  • Development, training and skills development & consulting with hands-on experience designing and monitoring a team.
  • Possession of high Capability, Ability, and
  • Willingness to work under pressure, maintain professionalism & ethics and project management
    Innovative and a natural leader!

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing Qualification or an equivalent;
  • 1-2 years Sales & Marketing background in a marketing trade/ FMCG environment
  • Good selling, negotiation and communication skills with a proven track record.
  • Exceptional marketing skills.
