Description

Our client, Toyota Kenya Limited is a leading automobile distributor and service provider in Kenya. They wish to recruit for the position of Credit Controller (NT Service - Corporates & Insurance) to be based at their Nairobi branch.

Job Purpose

The jobholder is responsible for the provision of support to the branches in ensuring proper debt management in line with Company credit policy and credit guidelines issued from time to time.

The jobholder will also facilitate prompt debt collection while enhancing business relations with customers through visits.

Job Profile

Setting monthly and update weekly target collections for cash flow management

Monthly computation of

bad debts provision and posting to the ledger

Extension of credit limit / credit period for customers who have exceeded the approved credit limit / overdue

Debt collection – Corporate & Insurance

Allocation of receipts

Monthly dispatch of customer statements to facilitate timely payment

Propose quarterly bad debt write off

Process application of new customers

Follow up and post approved Withholding tax to ensure full payment by the customer

Customer visits to enhance business relation, fast track collection of debts, and to support the retention of credit worthy customers

Person Profile

Degree in a Business related field from a recognized institution

CPA (II)

Two (2) years of relevant work experience from a reputable organization
