Job Description

The Chief Talent Officer will be critical to this drive, based at the headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.

The CTO will be

A world class people strategist and leader
With outstanding knowledge and track record across the whole human resources/talent/people function

As a leader of HR leaders, their reputation and skill set must command respect, and provide a sure source of support and insight for their team

Able to mix it at the group exco level, providing the expertise on people, but grounding it within commercial flair.

Requirements

Previously, the CTO will have

Led the people function at a global or regional level

For a major employer with a large headcount and footprint

In a multi-level or matrix reporting environment

Essentially, we are looking for an eyebrow-raising, intake-of-breath-inducing profile;

someone whose arrival in the organisation will be a catalyst in the transformation from big name brand to gamechanging beacon business.
