Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing IT related policies and best practice guides for the organization
Organize the IT Department of the organization
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT systems and services
Architect, design and engineer the Information Systems of the organization
Plan and execute the acquisition of systems and services for the organization
Ensure regular checks are done on network, systems and data security
Work with the functional department in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Designing training programs and workshops for staff
Ensure Conducting regular system audits
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
Providing direction for IT team members
Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Cope up with new technology trends and figure out how the organization can benefit by re-designing systems and services
Job Requirements
Qualification
A minimum of M.Sc. in Computing fields (Information Systems, IT, ICT, Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering and related fields
Work Experience
More than 8 years of experience (at least 4 years as ICT/IT director/manager)
Experience in Construction industry/ manufacturing industry is preferred
Experience on project management is preferred
Knowledge and Experience on ERP implementation is mandatory
