Job SummaryWe are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.
Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.
The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.
The noteworthy General Manager should account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization's image, and meet overall growth objectives.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications, Competencies & Skills Training and Experience
Degree or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or related field;
2 years of relevant experience in Organizational Management;
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Executive managerial position

Strong grasp of democratic institutions principles;
Strong knowledge and experience, human resource management, finance, computer and procurement processes;
Knowledge of private institution institutions working procedures and willingness to create a conducive

Ability to express ideas clearly, work in a team environment and create an environment that fosters good working relationships;
Has strong interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills;
Basic information technology and computer skills;
Excellent knowledge and experience in organizing and the ability to confidently work in a team environment;
Strong technical knowledge in finance, human resource management, and logistics;
Knowledge of transportation as well as logistic issues;
Provides overall leadership in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the organization’s key functions;
Ensure the identification, nomination, and coaching of key employees qualified to understand the company's vision, mission, goals, and strategic priorities;
Ensures all decisions made by the board members is implemented and their outcomes are tracked;
Oversees the programmatic and technical performance of each of the department and provided required directions and support;
Ensures the implementation of financial and operations management standard;
Well evidenced analytical, organizational, evaluation, and problem-solving skills, diplomacy and confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
