The Wood Foundation Regional Program Officer Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

Participate in new business development and sector/country expansion efforts

Conduct Due Diligence and Project Feasibility

Provide Transaction Support and Portfolio Implementation

Assist with Reporting and Stakeholder communications

Qualifications

The Regional Program Officer will be a Kenyan national.

Have a commercial orientation, whether through direct experience in an agribusiness industry, or through management consulting or investment finance work with the private sector.

Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) required;

At least 2-5 years experience in a commercial consulting, investment finance, or agribusiness-related field;

Passion for economic development and improving livelihoods through commercially minded interventions; enthusiasm for venture philanthropy and impact investing;

Strong oral and written communication skills in English; command of Kiswahili preferred;

Ability to travel extensively throughout the region;

Self-motivated professional with impeccable integrity;

Ability to think strategically and work diplomatically within a broader team environment.
