The Namibia Media Trust’s NXT Journalism Hub will be hosting the 3rd cohort of the NXT Podcast Bootcamp and Fellowship in Windhoek, Namibia, from July 15 to 19, 2024.

NMT invites passionate individuals from Namibia and across Southern Africa to join us on a transformative journey. The programme is more than just a workshop; it’s a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded podcasters, elevate your skills, and contribute to the growing podcasting landscape in our region.

Requirements

  • You must be at least 21 years old and have a passport (if from outside Namibia) and be able to travel to Windhoek

  • You must be based in Botswana, Eswantini, Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe

  • You must commit to ethical journalism and its guidelines (such as the Code of Ethics of the Editor’s Forum of Namibia or the core principles of the Ethical Journalism Network

  • Enhance your podcasting skills – get technical support and training.

  • Participate in engaging workshops and collaborative meetings.

  • Connect with fellow podcasters and industry experts.

  • Receive ongoing mentorship and support to help get your podcast off the ground.
