The Federal Polytechnic Director, Works and Engineering Services Jobs in Nigeria



Duties
  • Overall control of the Works and Estate Department
  • Formulating divisional strategies to achieve the Polytechnic goals; planning and controlling the technical activities of the Works Department.
  • Advising the Rector on the acquisition, operation and maintenance of all polytechnic's assets
  • Preparing the Works Division's budget and exercising budgetary controls;
  • Keeping an inventory of all Polytechnic vehicles and responsibility of their maintenance, security and up-keep.
  • Supervision of all staff in the division.

    Qualifications
  • Interested candidate should possess a B.Sc / HND in Engineering with at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience or a Master s Degree in Engineering plus 18 years post-qualification cognate experience or Doctorate degree with 13 years post-qualification cognate experience.
  • Must be registered with COREN.
  • Interested candidates should not be more than 59 years of age at the time of application. Candidates for this position must be morally sound and of impeccable character.
