Job Summary

The QA Manager Evaluates, Updates, and Implements Policies and Standards to Ensure That TCP Products Meet Statutory and Regulatory Requirements, Essential Product Safety Requirements, and All TCP Quality Requirements. Also Oversees and Coordinates Quality Assurance Activities With Cross-functional Teams to Resolve Production Problems, Maximize Product Reliability, and Provide Excellent Value to the Customer

Key Accountabilities:

Establish short-term and long-term quality strategies and KPI’s. Develop reporting to validate/measure performance.

Coordinate training efforts for both Global and DC QA teams.

Establish, document, communicate, and enforce Brand quality expectations

QA alignment with retail and distribution operations.

Provide technical and process support and expertise to cross-functional teams via product reviews.

Coach and develop QA support staff by providing the appropriate exposure, technical training, and growth opportunities.

Coordinate with overseas QA teams to identify/rectify repeating vendor performance issues through communication and education.

Serve

as primary point of contact for all QA inspections

Resolves QA issues for HQ and Vendor

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

Preferred B.A., B.S., or Graduate Degree in related discipline (clothing and textiles or engineering)

7-10 years job experience in related field

Managerial experience in related field or Ecommerce

2-3 years experience in retail merchandise operations support (DC)

Business Knowledge and Critical Skills –

Quality Assurance:

Knowledge of statistical sampling plans and their appropriate applications

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities

Ability to communicate with, influence and gain support from cross-functional teams.

Ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and overall process optimization

Knowledge of construction methods and alternatives and familiarity with machines required to achieve them for both knit and woven product categories

Understanding of basic distribution and supply chain operations and processes

Ability to set clear directions and expectations for direct reports

Ability to quickly follow up and coach teams for improvement when expectations are not being met
