ResponsibilitiesProject Planning: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for the installation and implementation of CCTV, Access control and Alarms systems.
System Design: Designing CCTV, Access control and Alarms systems based on client requirements, site surveys, and technical specifications.
Integration & Testing: Integrating CCTV systems with other security solutions or building management systems and conducting testing to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Providing technical support for troubleshooting issues with installed CCTV, Access control and Alarms systems and conducting regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed project documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment lists, test reports, and providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Compliance & Standards: Ensuring that all installed CCTV systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems – IP Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment, follow schematic drawings and building plans in accordance with relevant Codes of Practice/Policies.
Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings.
Liaising with ARC (Alarm receiving centres)
Production of high quality commissioning and handover documentation and as fit drawings.
Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e. Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.
Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the systems working and functionality.
Demonstrate a general knowledge of Security Systems - Intruder Alarms, Access control, CCTV and Intercom
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates
should possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field.
At least 5 years of work experience.
Must have proven work experience in electronic security monitoring.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the service industry, preferably in the security industry
Other technical or project management certification will be an added advantage and greatly desired
Ability to work adjustably well under pressure
Ability to supervise all projects if need be
Must have a proven work experience in installation of electrical, security and communications system
Must have proven hands-on experience in the maintenance/ repair of electrical, security and communication systems.
Must have a vast knowledge of Lagos State and its environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, etc.
