Overall Job responsibility

To drive company vehicles as required to deliver and collect goods and messages,
and to transport staff and visitors to and from WSP. .

Key job responsibilities

Drive office vehicles for transport of authorized personnel and for delivery and
collection of materials and other effects

Perform routine maintenance on the vehicles (checking oil, leaks, tyres, etc) and
may arrange other repairs as needed.

Maintain daily log of official trips and fuel consumption

Ensure that the vehicle is regularly serviced

Ensure that the vehicle has the necessary approval for all its movements

Ensure that the organization rules and regulations are followed in the event of an
accident

Ensure that the vehicle is clean at all times

Job specification:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (plain) or equivalent

Valid Driving License class BCE free from any current endorsement(s)

First Aid Course Certificate from a recognized institution will be an added
advantage

Passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade III for the entry point to Driver III

Passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade II and worked for three years as driver
grade III to move to Driver grade II

Passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade I and worked for three years as driver
grade II to qualify as Driver grade I and existence of a Vacancy

Knowledge in defensive driving will be an added advantage

Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police

At least (4)

four years driving experience

Basic mechanical knowledge and appropriate maintenance of vehicles.

Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

indicating their current and previous employer and position held, current and expected
salary, name of at least three professional referees, academic and professional
certificates together with a copy of national identity card and or passport.

Applicants for Commercial Manager and Internal Auditor positions will be required to satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010 and provide:

Certificate of Good conduct from the directorate of criminal investigations.

Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB)

Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

Clearance from the Ethic and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) and

Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
