Telkom Kenya Risk & Compliance Manager- Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Vacancies
Role Purpose: This position is responsible for setting, implementing and monitoring the company direction, policies, and procedures for risk management and compliance with regards to Applicable Financial Institution Laws and Regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Laws and Regulations, and Business Risk / Controls matrix management pertaining to MFS.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the cost savings targets of the revenue assurance function/management accounting function
Educate business units risk and AML
Obtain buy-in for initiatives related Risk and AML
Collaborate with technology to exchange knowledge about latest developments in Money laundering in the industry
Compile monthly reports to inform business decisions
Advise business on KYC, AML and associated MFS risks
Analyse Internal MFS process to detect and mitigate weaknesses
Conduct audits on on-boarding and movement of funds within the MFS systems and environments.
Test and evaluate new process and changes to existing process to ensure that risk is correctly mitigated prior to implementation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or a related field from a recognized Institution.
University Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance
ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering, Accountant (CPA) K or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) would be an added advantage.
At least 3-5 years of experience in Compliance and Risk related activities, preferably in a Financial Institution in Kenya
Experience in AML policies and procedures, and compliance with the laws and regulations in Kenya
Experience of risk evaluation, internal controls implementation, compliance review processes and Fraud & RA
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role

Telkom Kenya Director of Sales Vacancies
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Managing Director - Enterprise Division, the job holder will be required to implement and drive the sales strategy and action plans for the sales and distribution of Telkom products and services to the Enterprise Division customers in support of the profitability and vision of the company. Furthermore, he/she must facilitate and enable the meeting of sales targets and revenue margins across the customer network.
Responsibilities
Overall in-charge of Enterprise sales strategy including Sales Cycle, Go to market and Executive support for closing.
Work with Head of Products to define solutions and products needed for Enterprise team
Drive growth through consistent and sustainable pipeline management
Responsible for forecasting and activity updates
Assist in post-sales engagement to ensure account transition to “Account Management” team members.
Work with Sector Management to identify up-sell opportunities and New product
Managing entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure to up-sell/cross-sell including: prospecting, discovery, evaluation, proposal, negotiation, justification, close
Closely monitor top end of the pipeline, Meet and exceed quarterly pipeline and sales objectives
A clear understanding of all Enterprise Products and business solutions and ability to find partners to work with to deliver solutions.
Qualifications
Relevant Business degree in Sales, Marketing or Economics, MBA would be an added advantage
Over 10 years’ experience in Marketing Management, Sales management, Strategic and tactical planning, Strong leadership and Relationship management
Experience in Telecommunication / ICT a plus
5 Years Exposure to Corporate / Enterprise Sales
Strong Leadership, Internal & External Stakeholder Management Skills
Excellent in communication, presentation, business reporting, competitive proposal writing and negotiation skills

Telkom Kenya IP Planning Engineer Vacancies
Role Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing the IP networks MPBN(Mobile Packet Backbone Network), Fixed access network, Internet gateway and Mobile Backhaul.
Responsibilities
Design IP network for new elements and services to be added
Create KPIs for new products/services
Analyze the IP network on a weekly basis against the KPI
Minimize network and service impact for any change and scheduling all planned works
Create and update handover system configuration documentation after software/hardware upgrade
Analyze the effect of a new/improvement change before & after implementation
Provide recommendation reports to Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of existing services
Act as a point of escalation for operational issues
Stay abreast of best practise through self-development.
Mentor junior members of the IP networks team.
Execute the People Management strategy of the business through compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
Contribute to the cost saving targets of the function
Evaluate the cost impact of initiatives before executing same
Understand customer expectations to ensure service delivery is aligned to same
Qualifications
Degree in Telecommunications and Information engineering, Electronic and computer engineering, Electrical and electronic engineering, Information technology, or any-related technical degree from a recognized institution.
CCNA-SP,CCNP-SP,JNCIA-SP,JNCIA-SEC,ITIL or any other equivalent certification
3-5 years’ experience in design, implementation, operation and maintenance of telecommunications networks
Understanding of the business and technological issues that impact on telecommunications & technology.
Thorough grounding in telecommunications network design and implementation.
Proficient in routing protocols OSPF,ISIS, BGP and L2 & L3 MPLS VPNs

Telkom Kenya Senior Core Network Engineer Vacancies
Role Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for Planning, Design and engineering of Circuit and Packet Switched Core Telecommunication Networks. The resultant is a performing core network
Responsibilities
Responsible for design and capacity planning for the GSM Circuit Switched Core Network nodes including but not limited to MSC, HLR/HSS,MGW, STP (SPS) and PoI
Evaluation of new and existing hardware, planning & design for new solutions, implementation & integration of new hardware/software, project management, and optimization of the CS-Core network.
Translate marketing inputs into core network architecture and design for mobile circuit switched service
Resolve faults related to design on all equipment under CS-Core network domain.
Configure data for new systems with vendors and create work instructions for existing systems.
Provide recommendation reports to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of existing CS- Core services.
Manage all software and hardware configuration for the CS-Core nodes.
Set relevant KPIs for the CS-core network and ensure the same are met.
Build internal and external relationships with key customers and suppliers to deliver continuous quality solutions to the business.
Application for Work Orders for network changes/integration and ensure that they are followed by the implementation teams
Qualifications
Relevant University Degree in Telecommunication or Computer Engineering or any-related technical degree from a recognized institution
At least 3 years’ experience in a Telcom environment dealing with Circuit Switch Core Network and signalling systems.
