Tana River County Agribusiness Jobs Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and promote the establishment of small agro-processing businesses for value addition;
  • Establish the economic performance of major enterprises in the area;
  • Develop farm business plans for farmers;
  • Compute farm inputs requirements for the area;
  • Monitor and collect agricultural market data and performance;
  • Prepare work plans and budgets for the department of agriculture;
  • Prepare progress reports and carry out monitoring and evaluation;
  • Conduct Broad Based Surveys for projects; and
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management or Agriculture Economics or
    related discipline; and
  • Computer literate and ability to use statistical packages e.g. Statistical Package
    for Social Sciences (SPSS) and other analytical tools.
