Job Description

Job Purpose: to create a conducive working environment to produce garments and to make optimum use of resources through implementing cutting, sewing and package processes that meet the Customer and Company expectations, within all applicable policies, guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and set production targets

Oversee garment pre-production processes

Manage production in cutting, sewing and packing to maintain production quality, efficiency, and outputs

Implement Company-wide production systems and improvement projects

Maintain discipline and accountability in all production departments

Create safe and conducive work environment

Provide managerial leadership to the Production team

Understand and live by the Company’s core values

Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Garment/Industrial/Textile or related field of study.

Experience: 8 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years in managerial positions, preferably in Garment industry.

Functional Requirements:

Production management techniques

Lean manufacturing concepts and tools

Understanding of basic garment quality standards a plus

Has the drive to meet or exceed a standard of excellence on an ongoing basis

Has the drive to lead, engage and enable teams and coach individual team members

Is excited by convincing and persuading others to do what is needed
