Job Description

Test incoming fabric/sub-material for confirmation to the company and customer standards as per the testing SOP.

Test sample/bulk garments for confirmation to the company and customer standard as per the testing SOP.

Produce lab testing reports in a timely manner based on the testing results.

Participate in required examinations in order to be certified by customers for performing lab testing services on their behalf.

Participate in pre-production meetings to notify teams regarding any potential problems with the fabric.

Perform monthly calibration on lab equipment and contact suppliers for assistance in case of equipment malfunction.

Maintain clear records of the test reports that have been issued by the lab.

Maintain a clear record of customer lab test requirements. Update the records whenever new requirements are received from the customer.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in textile/garment engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience on related position.

Additional Requirements:

Basic computer skill on MS office

Knowledge and understanding of textile laboratory instrument

Ability to understand, communicate and write English is required
