Taita Taveta County Protocol Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and organizing official visits, ceremonies, and special events; and preparing guest list and creating suitable seating arrangements;

Arrange photo opportunities and press conferences;

Facilitating linkages with other institutions and organizations;

Scheduling and maintaining calendar of Governors ceremonies, Conferences and special events;

Ensuring efficient and effective communication with stakeholders and visitors to the office of the Governor and/or County Government;

Facilitating appointments; Keeping and updating information on official delegations;

Ensuring proper etiquette for official engagements; and

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointments

Be a Kenyan Citizen

Be a holder of at least a Diploma in any of the following social sciences disciplines: Public Relations, Communication, Diplomacy, International Relations, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and

Have working experience in Public Relations or Protocol Service;

Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles of service as outlined in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010; and,

Proficiency in computer application skills.
