Duties and responsibilities

An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of an experienced officer.

Specific duties and responsibilities will be:

Participating in the provision of Fisheries Extension Services;

Collecting fisheries statistical data;

Maintaining fish farms and hatcheries; and,

Assisting in ensuring hygienic fish handling at fish landing sites, markets and farms.

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan Citizen;

Have certificate in any of the following fields: - Fish management, Natural resource
management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and,

Certificate of Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
