Sync.com is a next-generation cloud sync and sharing platform that gives users secure access to their data from anywhere. Having launched as a beta in 2013, Sync is now in use by over 400,000 individuals and businesses worldwide.

And we’re just getting started! We’re in the process of scaling our platform to accommodate hundreds of millions.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team in Toronto. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining and improving the Sync product and platform. You can expect autonomy in your work and design decisions.

Requirements

BS or MS degree in Computer Science
Software development experience with C/C++, Objective C, Java & Javascript

Ability to write elegant SQL queries.

A thorough appreciation of the Unix philosophy.

Experience working with third-party APIs

Experience with native Windows, OS X, iOS and Android app development a plus

You’re passionate about what you do

Ability to learn quickly, and willingness to try new things

Excellent communication skills.
