Our client, a leading company in the motorsports industry is looking for an experienced Sponsorship and Event Manager who will be responsible for working with both internal and external stakeholders to develop sponsorship plans, secure funding and implement strategies that will help their organization achieve its goals. The successful candidate will be involved in on boarding new sponsors, liaison with the marketing and merchandising team as well as media coordination.

Key Requirements:

Assist with the development and presentation of proposals aimed at securing new sponsorships

Develop a plan for each sponsorship opportunity, including creating marketing materials such as brochures and fliers that promote the event or activity

Coordinate with event producers to ensure that all sponsors are represented at events

Inform company executives about upcoming events and opportunities for exposure through sponsorship

Monitor the status of current sponsorships to ensure that all commitments are met by both parties

Coordinate with other staff members to

ensure that all sponsorship commitments are fulfilled

Manage the company’s database of potential sponsors and contact information for existing sponsors

Create a budget for each sponsorship opportunity based on the company’s projected spending on marketing efforts such as print ads and television commercials

Manage a team and add required skills/team members to the team as and when needed

Qualifications:

Degree in Communication, Marketing or a related field

Minimum 5 years of proven experience working in a similar position in the past

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Should have great time management and organization skills

Should have great networking and presentation skills
