Our client in the Agri-sector is looking to hire a Senior HR Manager. The role will report to the CEO of the company. Their role will be to plan and coordinate all HR activities within the organization. The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for championing new initiatives, stimulating others to change in a way that develops to better performance. The successful candidate Must have experience within the Agri-sector.
Key Requirements:
Provide daily administrative support for all employees – initiate data change requests and ensures system accuracy of HR transactions including new hires, terminations, job changes, salary modifications, and other job-related requests
Improve organizational effectiveness, while still adhering to the company’s culture and values
Maximize employee potential, help them amplify their contributions, and leverage their accomplishments to further organizational success
Challenge the status quo and champion new initiatives, acting as a catalyst of change and stimulating others to change, in such a way that the organization continuously develops towards better performance.
Partner with senior management to analyse organizational capabilities, drive organizational design and structure improvements to support the delivery of the current and future business strategy.
Establish and drive applicable competencies aligned with the Performance Management process.
Work with managers and employees to identify and address performance-related issues.
Ensure consistent application of policies/ procedures.
Analyse and understand compensation programs including annual merit
review and incentive programs.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in HR management, with additional experience in administration, change management, and/or organizational development.
Proven experience in establishing a new human resource department.
Experience working for a dynamic, agile, and medium-sized fast growth regional organization.
Proven track record of leading the delivery of HR functions to a high standard.
Proven track record as an HR professional, preferably in a regional or international role.
Active member of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
Demonstrated experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Demonstrated experience in talent management, succession planning and development, and writing and delivering training programs appropriate to the needs of employees and the business.
Strong command over ERP Systems especially the HR Management Module for applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, etc.
