Our client, a leading Micro-finance in Kenya is seeking to hire Sales Team Leaders in micro lending and finance to be based in various locations in Kenya (Nairobi, Nyahururu, Meru, Thika, Murang’a, Embu & Kitui).

The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring efficient performance of the assigned product with effective supervision of the sales team activities while maintaining strong business relationships with the client and assisting the branch Managers in hiring and training of the sales team.

Successful candidate must have Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling sales in the micro lending sector.

Key Requirements:

Recruit new sales reps continuously through a recruitment strategy to achieve the set target of sales representatives.

Train new sales reps and continuous product review to enhance product knowledge

Ensure sales team is well equipped with the product knowledge and selling skills necessarily needed to deliver in their role.

Supervise the sales reps on daily and weekly activity on agreed sales plans to ensure they are meeting the targets on both prospects and sales.

Motivate, coach

and mentor the sales team by accompanying them to the field and activations to maintain a high energized and a vibrant team.

Identify new market streams by getting the right and suitable quotes for activation while ensuring that conversion is made to justify returns on investment.

Monitor execution of action plans of the sales team and supervise daily and weekly sales

Carryout regular appraisals of the team in line with the company set performance standards and schedules.

Qualifications:

Relevant bachelor’s degree.

Must have Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling sales in the micro lending sector.

Market Intelligence skills.

Good judgment and decision-making ability.

Good analytical and reporting skills.

Leadership skills.

Communication skills.

Must have high integrity and honesty.

Problem solving skills.
