Our client, an International Engineering company that manufacturers steam management systems is looking for a creative Marketing Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales leads through the enhancement of content marketing and the use of digital marketing with the purpose of growing steam business in East Africa.

He/She will grow the commercial vitality by managing the implementation of global growth programmes and sales campaigns across their lifecycle as well as taking ownership of developing the sales campaigns. Experience in the Engineering sector is an added advantage.

Key Requirements

Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies

Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness

Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media

Liaise with stakeholders to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence

See all marketing campaigns through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics

Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution

Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth

Collaborate with managers in preparing Business development budgets and monitoring expenses

Execute the digital marketing strategy, including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), organic

and paid social marketing, pay-per-click and other digital marketing communications tactics

Supports the planning of marketing activities based against the customer journey based on feedback and insights to improve customer experience

Actively partner with regional and local marketing community to ensure the successful deployment of digital marketing activities, including but not limited to: Web and SEO

Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the same industry, the Content marketing team and Design Studio to implement digital marketing activities

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing or similar

At least 3 years working experience in Marketing

Experience in the Engineering sector is an added advantage

Experience taking high quality photographs & video of project deliverables to use for marketing purposes

Ability to work on your own and in a team

Proven experience in creating sales campaigns

Fully proficient in SEO and Digital Marketing
