Job Summary
Our Client in Garment Industry Based in Ruiru, Kiambu is Looking Forward to Filling Tailor Roles.

Duties and Responsibilities

Designing and Sewing Garments According to Production Needs

Tailoring

Operate Manual Sewing Machines.

Assemble Garment Parts and Join Parts With Basting Stitches, Using Needles and Thread or Sewing Machines.

Fit, Alter, Repair, and Make Made-to-measure Clothing, According to Customers’ and Clothing

Manufacturers’ Specifications and Fit, and Applying Principles of Garment Design, Construction, and Styling.

Understanding Design From a Technical Perspective, I.e. Producing Patterns and Technical Specifications for Designs.


Minimum Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Tailoring/dressmaking.

Minimum of 1 Year Experience in Tailoring.

Must Have Experience Using a Manual Machine.

Passionate About Their Work.

Excellent Communication and Listening Skills.

Ability to Maintain Favorable Relations With Fellow Employees.
