As part of strengthening our operations, Marketing department is looking for a smart, creative and ambitious individual to join the team.
Responsibilities
Commissioning consumer panels or surveys to develop customer insight which will inform the organization’s decisions with regard to product development and outward-facing service enhancements and the potential impact operational & financial impact of implementation.
Managing most internal research projects and advising and guiding colleagues planning to conduct their own research with regard to the findings of previous research undertaken and on methodologies for prospective research projects.
Sourcing the most appropriate external research agencies for specific research projects, using an outsourced research coordinator where appropriate, ensuring these are delivered on time and to the required standard/specification.
Managing external projects as required, including scoping the research and defining research methodology or briefing an outsourced research coordinator to do so.
Monitoring and analyzing business performance through a range of measures, internal and external and communicating
this back to the business with appropriate recommendations.
Curating and logging all research reports, internal and external, to ensure a high-level view of significant findings and trends, get value from them and report them back to the business.
Helping drive the organization’s increased trialing, piloting and consultation activity while analyzing and evaluating and interpret data, making sure that key issues are identified
Running periodical content and presenter’s research projects extending beyond SG to support the organization’s advocacy and engagement goals, working closely with Brand Managers.
Management of the research budget.
Requirements
5 to 7 years marketing research experience in increasingly responsible positions.
Expert knowledge of existing research techniques and emerging trends.
Strong knowledge of consumer products categories, brands and environment.
Skills and Attributes
Strong knowledge of business practices, marketing principles.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated team skills and thought leadership for business.
