Standard Bank Team Leader, Sales Jobs in South Africa

Job Purpose

To lead and supervise Inbound/Outbound tele-consultants engaged in the sale of products in accordance with business and client needs through the application of call centre best practice which will ensure that sales targets are met and to consistently portray a corporate image.

Key Responsibilites

• To ensure sale of Standard Bank Insurance Brokers short term products in line with targets set through various campaigns and the proactive response to positioned leads by teams.

• Ensure participation in ad hoc campaigns as determined from time to time by Contact Centre Management.

• Monitoring of personal and team performance relative to contact centre productivity, Lead to quote and quote to sale ratios, call to quote ratios and sales made as well as Premiums.

• Ensure all aspects of the sale have been discussed by completing the ‘checklist’ accurately.

• Ensure that Premiums are met.Ensure that Upsell targets are met

• Ensure favourable NPS ratings (85%) by consistently promoting quality staff interactions with customers and prospective customers.

• Personal development through involvement in mentorship, training and guidance provided Contact Centre management.

• Ensure compliance with FAIS legislation by ensuring that relevant supervisory requirements as prescribed by FAIS are completed and monitored.

Qualifications

Completed Matric and FAIS/Regulatory Examination accredited (compulsory) 120 credits in short term insurance.

NQF5 Qualification.

Minimum of 1 year sales/leadership experience / contact centre experience.

Insurance sales experience (advantage).Code of Banking practice. (advantage)
