Job Description

To ensure the growth and profitability of the Mining, Oil and Gas sector (i.e. grow the market share, share of wallet and ultimately the headline earnings of the sector). To grow the Mining, Oil and Gas lending book in order to derive and grow economic profit and balance sheet growth. To execute and drive the Mining, Oil and Gas acquiring and retention plans.

To drive and position the specialist industry expertise across the Mining, Oil and Gas value chain. To provide specialist deal-making input, supported by an improved product offering and to extract value from high-value clients in the sector.

Qualifications

A 3-year degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or sector related field of study

A post-graduate degree in business, commerce or finance is an advantage

Driver’s licence

Experience

5 - 7 years’ experience in structuring corporate finance (blend of lending and corporate) preferably within the Mining, Oil and Gas sector

At least 5 -7 years’ experience and exposure to investment banking or other complex corporate finance transactions, particularly in a

customer-driven, customer-facing environment

Sound experience in, and knowledge of, Credit and Compliance matters

Experience in research, valuations, financial modelling, report writing, written and verbal presentations
