Job Description

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of Stanbic Bank’s Public Relations and communication strategies, policies, guidelines and programs whilst ensuring their alignment to applicable standards.

Responsible for the custody of Stanbic Bank’s Broader stakeholder management agenda and building and nurturing strategic relationships with various stakeholders e.g. National and Foreign Governments (Executive/Legislature), Media, Business networks etc. for purposes of advancing Stanbic Bank’ objectives whilst safeguarding its interest and reputation.

Ensuring Stanbic Bank’s corporate positioning, visibility, reputation, brand and impact is aligned to its vision, mission and strategic direction.

Creating and managing strong global, regional and national media relations agenda as well as implementing a robust stakeholder engagement plan.

Creating and managing a vibrant social media strategy.

The role requires

an individual with a good understanding of the entire Brand and Marketing value chain with specific focus on Communications that includes Marketing & Communications strategies, Offline and Online Communications, Public and Stakeholder Relations, Digital and Content Marketing Plans and usability best practices. Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into clear Marketing & Communications strategies, integrated campaigns and deliverables.
