Job Purpose To manage and support the call centre channel to ensure there is sales and revenue growth. This must be attained by understanding the risks and costs, that need to be managed effectively to achieve operating income and sales targets. To manage and train sales agents to ensure sales, revenue and customer retention are met by providing customised solutions through a script that aligns to customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilites
Sales Growth
Formulates and implements a Standard Bank Mobile sale tactical for main and affluent Banking segments.
Manage the Call Centre pipeline for the respective products and ensure that sales are distributed within prescribed SLA.
Measure and manage sales targets and budgets for the products that are sold in Call Centre.
Sales Support
Manage Mobile call centre agents and delivery of SIM cards to customers.
Monitors and measures customer satisfaction levels with regards to training and service quality and ensures responsiveness and turnaround times are relative to drive business growth.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensures multi-channel utilisation and servicing to sell in order to increase penetration into the customer base and ensuring an increase in cross-sell activities.
Ensures that the correct escalation channels are appropriately reflected on the organisation structure for lead generation and escalation processes for sales for their respective business centres.
Monitors and manages the performance of team members, as it relates to leads, queries and complaints management.
Customer service
Adopts a customer centric approach and attitude that ensure correct acquiring solutions are offered and sold.
Ensures that the Customer’s received their SIM cards within the prescribed SLA.
Risk and compliance management
Complete all compliance training within laid down timelines.
Ensures that business risks are understood and addressed in the formulation of plans and appropriate control mechanisms (i.e. policies, practices and procedures), in order to minimise risk exposure.
Ensures compliance with rules, regulations and legislation governing the South
African financial services industry.
Cost and business management
Monitors and drives revenue growth and manages costs for the Standard Bank Mobile product sales team ensuring that sales implementation services and pricing tactics are adjusted in need to retain customers and maintains a competitive operation in line with budget allocations.
This includes: Alignment of budgets for the segment as determined at a Provincial level. Leveraging technology, systems, processes, and available resources to maximise sales and profitability.
Accountable for the Standard Bank Mobile product sales and distribution costs of the Standard Bank Mobile product.
Learning and development
Engages with Learning and Development to ensure that all relevant training is implemented for sales teams and management. Ensures that staff is equipped with the right tools, learning opportunities and processes.
People management

Qualifications
Diploma
3-4 years’ experience in Call Centre Management & Distribution required.
