Job Description

Responsible for the maintenance of the Gauteng General Ledger and cost management across all cost centres, as well as assisting with preparing analysis on financial and non-financial analysis. This role supports both Consumer & High Net Worth and Business & Commercial Clients business units.

Minimum Qualifications

Type of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study: BCom (Finance or Accounting)

Experience Required

Advanced excel

High level of business acumen and understanding

Conceptual understanding of the bank’s systems, system linkages and procedures from a business perspective

Understanding of finance and accounting

Appropriate level of business acumen and understanding

Knowledge of the bank’s policies and procedures

Conceptual understanding of the bank’s systems, system linkages and procedures from a business perspective

Ability to work with data and SQL and PowerBI an advantage

2 - 5 years advanced excel VB/ SQL or SAS programming

2 – 5 years of financial and statistical modelling

3 years + of data analytics and / finance management

Management accounting exposure

3 years management accounting experience

Experience in Finance is an advantage

Experience in

a Consolidation/Central role will be advantageous
