Job Description

To gather and analyse relevant information and insights for Business and Commercial Banking clients in order to support the Head Complex Solutions to deliver appropriate leverage and acquisition finance solutions.

To act as subject matter expert where leveraged acquisition finance solutions where required. Actively target and acquire new clients to the bank and assist in providing them with finance and moving their entire banking relationship to Standard Bank.

Qualifications

Business Commerce Degree

Experience

5-7 years previous experience in a commercial banking or Corporate and Investment Bank, or similar environment

Experience in debt structuring solutions and knowledge and understanding of debt structuring policies, systems and procedures

Sound experience in, and knowledge of, credit and compliance matters and knowledge and understanding of different industry sectors and sector risk profiles and trends

Understanding of business and financial management principles and practices to ensure cost containment, cost efficiency and effectiveness and profitability

The sales ability to cold call and generate new to bank opportunities for Business and Commercial Clients
