Standard Bank Lead, Enterprise Architecture Practice Jobs in South Africa

Job Purpose

To build and evolve the Enterprise Architecture practice by introducing and implementing a repository of frameworks, guidelines and associated collateral that is required to continually improve the quality of business capabilities and outcomes that are delivered by each architect across the Group forming part of the Community of Practice, in alignment to leading industry practices.

Key Responsibilites

• Ensure a common sense of purpose by facilitating the creation of the Enterprise Architecture practice vision, intent and desired outcomes.

• Identify and drive a multi-year strategy of service and output improvements to increase the maturity of the Enterprise Architecture practice.

• Facilitate and manage the delivery of strategic initiatives for the Enterprise Architecture practice to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services and outputs delivered.

• Collaborate with team members, industry, community, subject matter experts and research houses in order to establish and continually improve the Enterprise Architecture standards, methods, frameworks, patterns and guidelines to improve the delivery of Enterprise Architecture.

• Introduce, adopt, manage and champion appropriate Enterprise Architecture governance standards, methodologies, procedures, frameworks and processes to ensure appropriate compliance and reporting.

• Demonstrate buy-in to new way of work and organisational practices

by supporting the implementation of new frameworks and methods to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Enterprise Architecture practice.

• Drive continual improvement by consistently aligning the Enterprise Architecture practice area's offerings to business demands and ensuring that business needs are managed effectively.

• Oversee the relevant Enterprise Architecture practice ensuring the appropriate capacity, capability and competency is developed to support the effective and efficient delivery of Enterprise Architecture to the Group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology.

• 1-2 Years proven experience in General Management and the associated areas therein.

• 8-10 Years proven exposure to Information Technology Architecture.
