Standard Bank Finance Value Manager: Engineering Jobs in South Africa

Job Purpose

To provide full financial management services to various areas in the bank, through engagement and the leading of teams. Develop and implement processes, systems and controls in the finance area.

Key Responsibilites

Display a deep interest and proficiency in automating and reducing redundant tasks aligned to future ready skills and proven experience.

Adhere to sound financial principles in addition to implementing and challenging sound financial principles for the various areas.

Assume accountability for all management information packs produced and circulated to your relevant stakeholders and including the interpretation thereof.

Plan and co-ordinate information from financial managers on a daily, monthly, annual and ad hoc basis.

Implement, coordinate and finalise annual budgeting, revised estimates, forecasts and actuals processes.

Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders at varying levels of responsibility to achieve business objectives.

Enforce the Group guidelines and policies around financial management and financial control.

Review, implement, approve and maintain the transfer recovery/transfer pricing cycles for all financial cycles.

Qualifications

Finance Degree / BCommerce with Honours/ CIMA/ CA (SA).

3-4 Years experience in a financial or management accounting role.

3-4 Years Post Articles / Post Honours Financial Accounting Years.
