Responsibilities

*Assess the patient's physical conditions to diagnose movement and functional issues within the scope of your training

*Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, pain management modalities, and assistive device training to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.

*Collaborate with the orthopedic and clinical departments to provide integrated care and refer patients to specialized facilities or higher-level hospitals when advanced care is required.

*Maintain accurate patient treatment records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the EMR, while preparing and submitting reports to maintain compliance with Medical center policies.

*Ensure proper maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and advocate for acquiring necessary resources to deliver quality care

*Comply with all healthcare regulations, guidelines, and policies, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.

*Develop and implement strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones, aiming for growth in patient numbers for the physiotherapy clinic.

Qualification

*Must be a holder of a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a reputable institution.

*The applicant At least 2 years' experience working in a hospital or a busy health facility.·

*Current Certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK);

*Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

*Good communication skills (written and oral) and etiquette.

*Customer focused and always willing to go the extra mile
