Key Duties
Coming up with a Marketing strategy for Hospital.
Increasing revenue through enrolling new corporate clients and consultants.
Coordinating events within the Hospital as a revenue line.
Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, ability to conduct a SWOT analysis, and establish targeted market share.
Improving product/service marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
Enhancing social media presence of the Hospital
Identifying product/service improvements or new products/services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
Creating awareness of the Hospital in the market for proper positioning.
Preparing promotional event flyers for Hospital Events.
Confirming with HODs on the upcoming events and posting them on the website and social media platforms.
Developing customer satisfaction programs.
Improving total quality of the Hospital in liaison with other managers.
Ensuring awareness of the Hospital events and services to the existing members.

Duties
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of staff matters and file content.
Keep calendar of all the Health Management Team and Hospital Advisory Board Meeting and reminds the CEO/Administrator of due dates in advance.
Ensure that the Health Management Team’s offices are cleaned daily and well arranged.
Attend to the needs of the CEO and the Administrator as required and booking appointments done on timely basis as required.
Ensure that all filling system is done in a professional manner and files given code numbers accordingly.
Handle all correspondences as required, taking messages, ensure mails are posted on timely basis
Handle and manage all in-coming and out- going telephones appropriately.
Liaise with relevant departments, organization and individuals as demanded by the administration.
Ensure that all records are well kept and filings of official confidential documents are kept safe and retrieved when required.
Type only authorised documents by the administration.
Ensure that all official communications, documents and staff files are kept confidential
and that no unauthorized persons have access to the information.
Ensue the secretary office is well maintained, clean and the Kranium server system is protected.
Attend to the visitors, staffs and other persons.
Pick and Deliver the administration block keys (must) to the convent house every working day.

4. St. Francis Community Hospital General Surgeon Jobs in Kenya
Qualification: Post graduate Degree in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Requirement: Registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
Experience of two years and above practicing as general surgeon
Responsibilities:
Expected to be conducting surgical ward rounds, consultation with all the hospital
consultants and ensuring that the surgical patients are well managed with good patient history management profile.
Ensuring that before operation the theater is well prepared, equipped with surgical instruments required for the surgery.
Should provide all the information and risks associated with the surgery to the patient.
Should be able to manage, plan and schedule the surgery procedures for the week and document. Copies of the surgery list should be shared with administration.
Should have required good skills to use the surgical instruments and examine instruments, equipment, and operating room to ensure sterility.
Ensure monthly inventory of both theatres is conducted and documented. Any procurement of supplies and equipment required ordered in good time.
Liaising with other consultants especially in surgical cases.
Provide consultation and surgical assistance to the hospital medical officers and clinical
officers’ staffs to ensure smooth management of patients.
Should also have good tolerance levels, since; he/she may be expecting to undergo longer hours than scheduled.
Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary.
Should demonstrate leadership skills, good decision-making power and ready to work in emergency situations under tremendous pressure.
Prescribe pre-operative and post-operative treatments and procedures, such as sedatives, diets, antibiotics, and preparation and treatment of the patient's daily management.
Should accelerate the performance of the surgical department services. Set target of over 15-20 operation cases per week. Provide monthly surgical procedure report and shared with Administration.
