South Nyanza Sugar Company Motor Vehicle Drivers Jobs in Kenya

To operate the vehicle assigned and ensure it’s in sound working condition.


Reporting to the Transport Officer, the driver will be assigned to the pool and will be responsible for:
i) Driving the company vehicles as assigned from time to time;

j) Keeping the vehicle in good working condition;

k) Attaining specified targets in terms of timely deliveries;

l) Keeping the vehicle clean;

m) Using vehicle only for specified jobs;

n) Identifying mechanical faults early and ensure they are rectified in good time;

o) Should be ready to work for long hours from time to time;

p) Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Specification/ Requirement

a) KCSE or Equivalent qualification.

b) Driving license with class A, B, C.E.,

c) Five (5) years’ work experience.

d) Should be conversant with major routes.

e) Should have basic mechanical knowledge of fault finding in vehicle.

f) Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

g) Should be a person of good integrity and always have a presentable outlook.

h) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
