Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

i. Effective preparation and effective delivery of lessons;

ii. Curriculum implementation;

iii. Effective class management;

iv. Taking care of the children welfare;

v. Maintenance of the child’s development records;

vi. Evaluation of learners;

Job Specification

 KCSE C+ in teaching subjects

 Diploma in secondary education or degree in education from a recognized
institution.

 Three (3) years’ relevant work experience.

 Valid registration with Teachers Service Commission (TSC)

 Proficiency in computer applications;

 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
