South Nyanza Sugar Company Heavy Plant Operators Jobs in Kenya

Reporting to the line Supervisors, the operators will be assigned to the machines and will be responsible for:

a) Performing specific activities by using heavy duty machines and equipment;

b) Inspecting the machine for suitability of safe operation;

q) Checking machinery defects and report the same to immediate supervisor;

r) Identify mechanical faults early and ensuring they are rectified in good time;

c) Making necessary adjustments on equipment to attain the required work quality;

d) Making necessary adjustment on the machine to ensure safe operation.

Job Specification

a) KCSE or equivalent qualification.

b) Driving license classes, Special type, Shovel, Grader and others as added advantage.

c) First Aid certificate.

d) Holder of defensive driving from reputable firm.

e) Five (5) years driving experience in commercial environment.

f) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
